Arrivare
a Roma è relativamente semplice. La città è ben collegata
con il resto dell'Italia e con l'Europa. La città è dotata
di due aeroporti: Fiumicino e Ciampino ed è sede di
uno dei maggiori nodi ferroviari italiani: Stazione
Termini. E' invece sconsigliabile cercare di entrare in città
con un mezzo privato, il traffico è poco scorrevole e disordinato
ed il costo dei parcheggi è molto elevato (sopratutto nella zona
della Facoltà: 2.000 Lire per ogni ora). Nota dolente sono i prezzi
degli alloggi, che sono, in genere, molto cari. Un albergo decente e centrale,
raramente ha un costo inferiore alle 100.000 Lire per notte a persona.
Esistono comunque alberghi più economici leggermente fuori dal centro, e comunque ben collegati con il resto della città. Nella pagina relativa all'accoglienza troverete alcuni alberghi (situati nei pressi della facoltà) l'indirizzo degli ostelli e alcune informazioni sulla possibilità di venire ospitati durante i giorni del convegno. via aereo dall'Aeroporto Internazionale Leonardo da Vinci:
I treni che transitano per Roma, si fermano alla stazione centrale, la Stazione Termini. La stazione si trova vicina al centro della città ed a 15 minuti di passeggiata dalla Facoltà. Una volta arrivati alla stazione Termini potrete raggiungere facilmente la vostra destinazione via taxi, metropolitana o autobus. Roma possiede un certo numero di stazioni "periferiche", controllate l'indirizzo del vostro alloggio, potrebbe essere più comodo scendere in un'altra stazione. La maggior parte delle stazioni periferiche sono ben collegate alla città. Se decidete di raggiungere Roma via treno, potete controllare gli orari presso il sito web delle Ferrovie dello Stato o presso quello delle Deutsche Bahnhof (che contine un orario a livello europeo). |
Reaching
Roma is almost straightforward, the city is well connected with the rest
of the country an the main cities of Europe. The city has two airports:
Fiumicino ( Leonardo da Vinci International Airport) and Ciampino
and own one of the major railway junction of the country: Termini
Station. It is advisable not to trying to enter in Rome on a private
car, the traffic is slow, jams are frequent and parking cost is generally
high (parking rates are 2.000 Lire per hour, from 8:00 to 23:00, in the
neighborhood of the faculty).
Hotels in Roma are expensive, especially the central ones, their rates rarely are under 100.000 Lire per persona per night and often are above 150.000 Lire. Cheaper but still conformable hotels can be found out of the city center , for price and availability, please contact a Tourist Information Center (Try to contact your local ENIT office). It is advisable to book in advance. via Airplane:
The airport is located in the borough of Fiumicino (near Rome). The city can be reached by taxi or train. Taxis fares for Fiumicino/Roma trip range from 45.000 to 60.000 Lire, and the following supplements may apply:
The airport has an internal train station, reachable from the various terminals following a path of tapis rulant, elevators and escalators. There a re two types of train:
Most of the trains to Rome stops at Termini Station. The station is at 15 minutes of walk from the faculty. Once arrived at Termini you can reach the faculty by Taxi, underground or bus. Besides Termini Stations, Rome has other train stations, check if one of these in nearer to your accommodation.
